Divine D (Mon. thru Fri. 11-3 pm)

Mid Day Gospel Jamz. Extreme fun,exciting and simply a passion for radio is how Divine describes what it’s like being a radio personality. Radio Broadcasting began for Divine at the tender age of 10 on WGVW when it was public access radio in Grand Rapids, MI. Not only the host of the Jamz Divine serves in the capacity of Music Director and interfaces with indepentent artists and major record labels.

Divine graduated from Reformed Bible College in May of 2005 with dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Broadcast Media and Theology. She has further educational aspirations to obtain a Masters Degree in the near future.?Divine’s favorite hobbies include shopping,going to the movies and traveling worldwide. “I been as far as Japan and desire to visit Western Europe.”

Lavon Bridgers (Mon. thru Fri. 4-6pm)

Lavon Bridgers is a native of the State of North Carolina and Loves God with all his heart, mind, and soul. With over 25 years of experience in broadcasting, he has mentored many young people that were inspired to become and are radio announcers today. His broadcasting career started at WRVS 89.9 ECSU under the direction of Ms. Edith Thorpe, program manager, and the Late Greg Sampson, production director. Lavon attended Interdenominational Theological Center with the C.H. Mason Seminary and later graduated with a Master’s of Divinity degree. His hobbies are reading and spending time with his family.

The Evangelist (Mon. thru Fri. 7-11 am)
Morning Mix with the Evangelist

Saved, Sanctified, Holy Ghost filled and on Fire for Jesus, The Evangelist has always known her voice was a gift for God’s use. A licensed Evangelist, and called to the ministry gift many years ago, she grew up under the Pentecostal movement of the Church of God in Christ. God has allowed her to flow in that gift to minister and preach the gospel not only before local and regional assemblies, but worldwide via the radio dial. She has been featured in the National publication Precious Times Magazine as one of the 50 Faithful. She has received the NANBPW Sojourner Truth Award and a special Tribute from former Governor Jennifer Granholm and the State of Michigan for her community service. She holds Bachelor’s of Science degree from Cornerstone University and is pursuing a Masters at the Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.  One of her favorite scripture is Ephesians 3:20.  Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. God is able!!!

Street Sermonz with Keno (Fri. & Sat. 9-11 pm)

Fueled by a love for good music and primarily a passion to share Christ, he is on a mission to “change the game”. KENO desires to expose people to the variety Gospel music has to offer, “although they are foundational components that are still VERY relevant & necessary, I want people to know and enjoy the fact that Gospel music is more than just choirs and quartets”, he says. Having a heart for today’s youth, KENO wants to see all who are apart of and/or being affected by Hip Hop Culture presented with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition to his work in TV and radio, KENO is a licensed minister and a member of Nehemiah Urban Church Ministries (Chicago, IL.) and a graduate of Kennedy King College’s Media Communications program . KENO is known as a cool, laid-back, fun loving, very friendly individual who loves people.

Dorinda (Saturdays 1-3PM)
The Dorinda Clark Cole Radio Show

A member of the legendary Clark Sisters, Detroit native Dorinda Clark-Cole possesses vocal similarities to her mother, Gospel pioneer Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. Her talent and vibrant personality have been showcased since she began singing at age 5, earning her the nickname “the Rose of Gospel.” Her Grammy Award-winning style fuses contemporary and traditional Gospel on hits such as “Time Out,” “My Redeemer Liveth” and “I’m Still Here.” Clark-Cole balances her musical career with national speaking and preaching engagements. She also serves as an administrator at Detroit’s Clark Conservatory of Music, founded by her mother. Her national radio show, the Dorinda Clark Cole Radio Show, can be heard Saturdays, at 1 to 3 pm.

Bobby Jones (Saturdays 3-5 pm)

Dr. Bobby Jones has revolutionized the gospel music industry. As Host of the nationally syndicated “Bobby Jones Gospel Countdown”, Bobby has one of the top programs on Radio, reaching millions each weekend. Jones excelled academically throughout school, graduating from high school at 15 and Tennessee State University at 19 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Jones continued his education by pursuing a master’s degree at Tennessee State and a Doctorate from Vanderbilt.

He and his group, New Life, were nominated for a Grammy Award in 1982 for “Best Performance by a Black Contemporary Gospel Group” for the album Soul Set Free. In 1984, he received the Gospel Music Association’s (GMA) Dove Award for Black Contemporary Album of the Year, a Grammy Award for “Best Vocal Duo for a Soul/Gospel Performance” for the single; I’m So Glad I’m Standing Here Today performed with country music star Barbara Mandrell, and an NAACP Image Award. In 1990 he received the GMA’s Commonwealth Award for Outstanding Contribution to Gospel Music. In 1994, Jones was nominated for the Cable ACE Award.?Bobby Jones Gospel, for which he is best known, has been seen on Black Entertainment Television (BET) since November 1980 and is one of the network’s most popular shows.
